Part-time Recreation Assistant - Town of Henrietta, NY
The Town of Henrietta is looking to fill the position of part-time Recreation Assistant for our Recreation Department.
General Description: This position is responsible for greeting members and guests, answering phones, and performing other tasks in the office and around the Recreation Center. The position reports directly to the Recreation Director. Schedule varies and will include some evening and weekend shifts.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
· Registering participants for programs and memberships.
· Processing cash, check and credit card payments.
· Booking cabin and pavilion rentals.
· Building Supervision.
· Light cleaning.
· Room setup for programs and events.
· May be responsible for opening or closing the Recreation Center
· Other tasks as assigned by the Director.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Strong communication skills.
· Good keyboard skills.
· Enjoy working with the public.
· Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
· First Aid and CPR required but training is available.
Hourly Rate: $16.22 - $17.22 based on experience.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.22 - $17.22 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Evenings as needed
- Weekends as needed
