The Town of Hilton Head Island is seeking a dynamic and experienced Budget Analyst to provide support in preparation, monitoring and analysis of the Town’s annual budgets for the General Fund, Debt Service Fund, Capitol Project Fund and Enterprise Fund.
The Town of Hilton Head Island is seeking a dynamic and experienced Budget Analyst to provide support in preparation, monitoring and analysis of the Town’s annual budgets for the General Fund, Debt Service Fund, Capitol Project Fund and Enterprise Fund.
What You Will Do
- Validate the accuracy of operating budget requests and submissions provided by each Department
- Provide recommendations and accurate budget projections and forecasting
- Coordinate with other financial personnel to obtain sufficient information to provide sustainable justification for budget requests
- Provide continuous oversight of the Town’s budget expenditure of approved funds
- Resolve any variance discrepancies found during variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Account required
- Minimum three (3) years of related experience
