The Town of Ipswich seeks qualified candidates for the full-time, benefited, union position of Collection Clerk in the Treasurer/Collector Office.
Some responsibilities include: collection and processing of payments for real estate tax, personal property tax, excise tax; reconcile cash and checks; process and reconcile tax payments; process municipal lien certificate requests; maintain files and logs; process interoffice payments; take passport applications; sell beach, fish, horse and launch stickers; answer customer inquiries at the window and by phone.
