START Transit Service Planning and Marketing Coordinator

The Town of Jackson is now accepting applications for the full-time, fully benefitted position of Transit Service Planning and Marketing Coordinator in the Transit Department. The Town of Jackson is seeking a dedicated, value-centered individual to serve in a responsible administrative position on our Transit team to lead our transit service planning and outreach efforts for Southern Teton Area Rapid Transit (START) through communications and marketing, evaluating existing transit routes and schedules, and researching and recommending new bus routes and methods for providing transit services which may include van pools, on-demand services or other methods. The hiring range is $81,300 - $90,000 annually DOQ with full benefit package.

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying. Typical qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in transit planning, transportation, geography, marketing, communications, business or other related field of study and 3 or more years’ experience in transit planning, communications and marketing, grant writing, business or local government. Ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational, analytical, strategic and interpersonal skills.
