The Town of Johnstown is seeking a Civil Engineer with a special emphasis in water and wastewater distribution and collection systems. This position involves coordination and management of engineering projects and planning components of the Town’s infrastructure including review of land development applications. The ideal candidate will be motivated to apply their technical expertise to a wide range of projects ranging from external land development reviews to internal Town capital improvement projects. The initial focus of the position will be to get familiar with the active developments in Johnstown and to get up to speed on Johnstown’s development review process. The candidate will be an integral part of the Engineering Department and will join a growing team of engineers to serve the Johnstown community.

Expected Hiring range: CE I $80,000 - $111,000, CE II $87,500 - $122,000
