The town is seeking the right candidate for a Parks Maintenance I or II position. The ideal candidate would have a background in a variety of skilled construction and maintenance activities that relate to the development and maintenance of the Johnstown Parks & Open Space System.
Parks Maintenance I: is an entry-level position with at least six months of experience and is expected to complete the duties and job responsibilities listed below with an increasing ability to foresee problems and seek advice on solutions, anticipate the next steps, and need minimal assistance from the Parks Maintenance Crew Lead Supervisor.
Parks Maintenance II: is a mid-level position with at least four years of experience and is expected to complete the duties and job responsibilities listed below with minimal training; can identify possible problems and give feedback on solutions; requires minimal input and assistance from the Parks Maintenance Crew Lead Supervisor.
