Under direction of the Fire Chief or Deputy Fire Chief, the Division Chief directs, manages, supervises, and coordinates the activities and operations of the department. The Division Chief is responsible for the overall management and supervision of personnel in an assigned division : Emergency Medical Services Division, Logistics and Support Services Division, and Safety, Training, and Wellness Division. The members of the Command Staff shall all fulfill the essential job functions as directed and may be rotated between assignments as a Division Chief at the discretion of the Fire Chief. These positions work under the direct supervision of the Deputy Chief.
