This is a supervisory, administrative, technical, and customer service position that involves overseeing the safe and effective operation of buildings, facilities, and equipment with primary emphasis on the swimming pools at Ida Lee Park Recreation Center and the A.V. Symington Aquatic Center. What You'll Be Doing

High school graduate or equivalent with at least two (2) years of progressively responsible work in the aquatic facility industry. Certification in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Standard First Aid, AED, and American Red Cross Lifeguarding, and Certified Pool Operator or Aquatic Facility Operator. Certification as Lifeguard Instructor Training or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of two (2) years of aquatic facility management experience. Certification as Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) and/or Certified Parks and Recreation. Professional (CPRP) is desirable. Bilingual in English/Spa Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of two (2) years of aquatic facility management experience.
