We are currently accepting applications for the full-time seasonal positions of :
Summer Conservation Field Supervisor and Crew
We anticipate hiring three full-time seasonal positions
One field supervisor position : 34 hours per week from mid-April to late August
Two field crew position : Up to 30 hours per week from early-June to late August
Starting range for Field Supervisor position is $20 / hr.
Crew position starts at $17.00 / hr.

DUTIES :
- Maintaining trails on Lexington's conservation land, including brush-mowing, weed-whacking, pruning, and
clearing debris
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
mosquitoes, ticks, dense brush, etc.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
environmental studies, natural sciences, and / or comparable job experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while
performing the duties of this job. This is an outdoor position. The crew member positions may include occasional
indoor office work for project planning purposes. Employees will be required to work outside, walk long
distances, and lift heavy loads in all different types of weather and environmental conditions, including rain, heat,
mosquitoes, ticks, poison ivy, and dense brush.

Prior to appointment, the final candidate may be required to "undergo" a criminal background check (CORI),
sexual offender background check (SORI), and pre-employment physical including a drug screening test. A
Town-selected physician will conduct such physical and the costs will be borne by the Town.
