What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recreation Program Coordinator position at Town of LIncoln?
The Lincoln-Woodstock Recreation Department is hiring a Recreation Program Coordinator. The Recreation Department serves residents of the towns of Lincoln & Woodstock, as well as guests to our area. We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative new team member to plan, implement, and evaluate our after-school program, summer camp programs, food pantry, youth sports, operation of the Kanc Ski Area, and seasonal programs and events.
This position is full time, year-round, requiring some nights and weekends. Benefits include free health and dental insurance for the employee and if applicable, their spouse and dependents, retirement, and paid leave time.
A degree in Recreation, Outdoor Education, Physical Education, Education, or a related field is preferred. However, relevant experience in the recreation & parks field may be substituted for the educational requirement. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, eagerly interact will all ages, and be able to keep information confidential. Successful background and driving checks are mandatory.
