What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Assistant (Temporary/Hourly/Unbenefited) position at Town of Los Gatos?
- Watering trees using a portable water wagon.
- Trimming and clearing brush by using manual and power tools.
- Maintaining restrooms, including emptying trash, replenishing bathroom supplies and cleaning floors and fixtures, leaf blowing and sweeping.
- Maintaining parks and trails. May assist with maintains the Town’s urban forest.
- Picks up, cleans and removes debris and trash from walkways, picnic areas, recreation areas, and parking lots.
- Reporting or addressing safety issues.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
Education: Completion of the twelfth grade or equivalent.
Experience: One (1) year of park maintenance or other related work experience.
