Position Description
The Town of Marana is seeking a Recreation Aide to assist the Business Process team with administrative duties at the Community / Senior Center within the Parks and Recreation Department. This is a short-term temporary position and an exciting opportunity for someone interested in having a direct impact on promoting Marana to become a premier destination for business and leisure as well as outdoor enthusiasts.
Pursuant to the Marana Town Code, Sections 3-1-2(D) and 3-1-3(B), and the current Salary Schedule implemented by the Town Manager, the position of Recreation Aide is defined as an Unclassified position. Unclassified positions are at-will employees and employment that may be terminated upon the will of the employer or employee at any time with or without cause.
Hiring Rate : $15.00
Returning Marana employees may be eligible for a $0.25 / hour increase for each returning year up to a maximum pay rate of $16.00 / hour.
Preferred Availability : Weekdays (8am-5pm)
Examples of Duties
- May be required to work community and signature events.
- Provides administrative support to include assisting with administrative and software projects as assigned.
- Assists customers with registrations and reservations.
- Assists customers with payments; resolves issues and inquiries.
- Provides excellent customer service.
