EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
The Town of Marana is seeking a Permit Technician to work in the Development Services Department. This is a full-time position and an exciting opportunity for someone interested in collaborating with a team, assisting the public and community. This position is critical to the day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will process and distribute submittals for plan review and will track project information. Must be able to work constructively and collaboratively. Expected Hiring Range: $20.65 - $25.30 per hourSalary Range: $20.65 - $27.73 per hourPlacement within the salary range is dependent on direct experience, internal equity and/or budgetThe Town offers a competitive benefits package: https://www.maranaaz.gov/Departments/Human-Resources/Benefits-Compensation
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
High school diploma or GED equivalency plus six months of additional education or trainingOver one year of customer service experience in a professional office environment or related fieldAn equivalent combination of education and relevant experience that provides the desired knowledge, skills & abilities to successfully perform essential functions may be considered.
