The Town of Marana is seeking Recreation Aides to work in the Parks and Recreation Department. This is a short-term temporary position and an exciting opportunity for someone interested in having a direct impact on promoting Marana to become a premier destination for business and leisure as well as outdoor enthusiasts.Pursuant to the Marana Town Code, Sections 3-1-2(D) and 3-1-3(B), and the current Salary Schedule implemented by the Town Manager, the position of Recreation Aide is defined as an Unclassified position. Unclassified positions are at-will employees and employment that may be terminated upon the will of the employer or employee at any time with or without cause. Hiring Rate: $16.00 per hour Returning Marana employees may be eligible for a $0.25/hour increase for each returning year up to a maximum pay rate of $17.00/hour.
