**Job Description:**
- Provide professional library services and ensure the delivery of quality materials, services, and programs to young people and their families.
- Perform reference, collection development, programming, instruction, technology support, and other duties needed to provide core library services.
- Coordinate the youth services operation and activities, train, supervise, and evaluate assigned staff, and coordinate technical services functions.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Mastery of library science (MLS/MLIS) degree required; at least one year of professional experience working in a public library, providing direct customer service, preferred.
- Youth programming experience and knowledge of children's and young adult literature are highly valued.
