The Morrisville Aquatics and Fitness Center (MAFC) is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled part-time Pickleball Instructor to lead engaging clinics and classes for participants of all ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the game, strong teaching abilities, and a passion for fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment.
- Design and deliver dynamic pickleball clinics and classes tailored to a range of skill levels.
- Teach fundamental techniques, game strategies, and rules in a clear and effective manner.
- Provide constructive, personalized feedback to help participants improve their skills.
- Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Ensure pickleball courts are clean and report any maintenance issues.
- Certification from a recognized organization such as the Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR), Pickleball Coaching International (PCI), or the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA).
- Experience teaching or playing pickleball at a recreational or competitive level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse participants.
- Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to accommodate varying skill levels.
- Previous coaching or instructional experience is highly desirable.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
