Head Counselor

Looking for qualified candidates to work at our Board of Health (BOH) certified summer camp for individuals with special needs. Head Counselors provide all necessary functions of an adaptive counselor, run a program throughout each day, mentor younger and less experienced staff and take on leadership roles as necessary. All Head Counselors are responsible for planning, teaching, coordinating, and carrying out activities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to work independently and in small groups of staff to provide a variety of activities on a daily basis.
• Must submit a health history record and examination form prior to the first day of work.
• Has or will obtain CPR/FA certification
• This position is a seasonal position as defined by the Massachusetts Department of Unemployment Assistance
  
  

Starting rate: $17.50 per hour
