Bookmobile Coordinator
Due to a recent retirement, the Morse Institute Library is looking for its next Bookmobile Coordinator. We are on a mission to bring library magic to every neighborhood in Natick. Our Bookmobile Coordinator will be a driving force behind our outreach efforts, ensuring that everyone in our vibrant and growing community has access to the information, education, and entertainment they want and need.
The Bookmobile Coordinator will assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating outreach and bookmobile services that align with the library’s strategic goals of inspiring minds, enriching lives, enabling learning, and fostering connections throughout the community. The Bookmobile Coordinator will operate the Library Bookmobile and/or Library Van on a regular schedule, working with the Outreach Librarian to bring the library to neighborhoods, events, and community gatherings.
The Bookmobile Coordinator is part of the Library’s Outreach team, and will work closely with other library departments to provide reference and Reader’s Advisory services, offer tailor-made programs to the community, and library instruction to bookmobile users. The Bookmobile Coordinator will also work with Library Administration to collect and analyze outreach statistics to help refine services and better serve the Natick community.

The Bookmobile Coordinator must have earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, and have a minimum of 2 years working in a library with a demonstrated commitment to working with a diverse population. Valid driver's license is required. In exceptional circumstances, specialized education, training, and/or experience may be substituted for part of the educational requirements.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position starting at $30.7072/hr. The Town of Natick offers excellent employee benefits.
