Key Responsibilities
The Utility Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for the following key areas:
- Maintenance and repair of water distribution and wastewater collection systems
- Operation of construction equipment and vehicles
- Participation in an on-call schedule for 24-hour stand-by duties
- Assistance with emergency response situations, including water main breaks and sewer backups
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing and public water/sewer system operations, as well as leadership skills and computer proficiency.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $26.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefit package.
