The Youth Fitness Program Coordinator position will oversee multiple Youth Fitness programs including (Pee Wee Sports, Sports Stars Camp, All-Star Sports Camp, Obstacle Course Race Training, Triathlon Training).
The Youth Fitness Program Coordinator position, is a supervisory role that conducts program activities, various checks and communications throughout each programs seasons. The position is "seasonal" and works in 5–8-week segments throughout the year.

Jan/Feb - Tues/Thurs - 3:45-6:15pm - 5 weeks = 25 hours
March/April - Tues/Thurs - 3:45-6:15pm - 5 weeks = 25 hours
Various - May - Interviews
June/July - Tues/Thurs - 8:45am-2:15pm - 8 weeks = 88 hours
Various - August - Interviews
Sept/Oct - Tues/Thurs - 3:45-6:15pm - 5 weeks = 25 hours
SPECIAL WEEK HOURS
June Special Hours - June 3 (5:45-:15pm), June 10 (5:45-7:15pm), June 15 (7:30-10:30am)
July/Aug Special Hours - July 31 (5:45-:15pm), Aug. 5 (5:45-7:15pm), Aug. 10 (10:00-3:00pm)
Total - 175 Hours Yearly
The Youth Fitness Program Coordinator duties:
* Help oversee all aspects of youth fitness programming
* Supervise staff, facilities, and participants during program hours
* Coordinates interviews and hiring of program staff members with Recreation Supervisor
* Coordinates the care of all equipment during program hours
* Orchestrate communication between Rec Supervisor, coaches, program Leads, and parents-Must have a knowledgeable background in sports and fitness
-Must be able to communicate with parents, coaches and participants
-Direct care and responsibility of program equipment
-Must enjoy working with young children
-Must be outgoing and able to lead, stay in constant communication with recreation supervisor
Previous Coaching or Sports Experience.
Previous Supervisory Experience preferred.
NAYS Program Director Training preferred (will be provided by employer if not already obtained)
