Job Responsibilities:
Looking for Seasonal Lifeguards to provide safety to our patrons and develop meaningful relationships with our members and camp participants. This is a seasonal position with a 35 - 40 hour work week. Some part-time employees will be allowed based on experience. Candidates must have a proactive work style and be rescue ready at all times. Lifeguards must be prepared to participate in regular in-service training to maintain high safety standards at all times. Willingness to conduct group lesson will allow candidates access to our private lesson instructor list. Private lessons pay more.
Bonus certifications that will improve pay rates by $1.00 per hour/ per certification include: Water Safety Instructors (WSI), Lifeguard instructor (LGI) and Certified Pool Operator (CPO);
Salaries vary based on experience, certifications and age.
Qualifications:
To work at the Town Pool, applicants should be at LEAST 15 years old with current Lifeguard Training Certification. **Please note** CPR/AED Professional Rescuer must be renewed annually.
