Job Summary
The Town of Ocean View is seeking an Accountant to perform skilled accounting work under minimal supervision. This role involves day-to-day accounting functions, including financial transactions and data management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily deposits and payment/check processing for the Town's General, Trust, Grant, and Water Funds
- Processing Gross Rental Receipt Tax returns
- Assisting with Fixed Assets and property taxes
Requirements:
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping practices and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
Benefits:
