**Job Summary**
The Town of Ocean View is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Specialist to perform accounting work under minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping practices and procedures, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Process daily deposits, purchase orders, and payment/check processing for the Town's General, Trust, Grant, and Water Funds.
- Assist with fixed assets and maintain and bill the Town's real estate property taxes.
- Process Gross Rental Receipt Tax returns.
The successful applicant must have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting and be proficient in Edmunds Govtech Software Solutions.
A salary range of $55,000 to $65,000 commensurate with experience will be offered. The Position Description can be found on the Town of Ocean View's website.
