Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests at the Pittsford recreation area. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills and be certified in CPR and First Aid. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for monitoring pool activities, providing excellent guest services, and maintaining a safe environment for all patrons.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
- Perform rescues and administer first aid as necessary.
- Conduct regular safety checks of the pool area and equipment.
- Provide exceptional guest services by answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Document incidents or accidents as required.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Lifeguard is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certification in Lifeguard training, CPR and First Aid is required
- Strong communication skills with a focus on guest services.
- Must demonstrate proficient swimming abilities.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evenings as needed
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends
