THE POSITIONWe invite you to join the high performing team at the Town of Prescott Valley, serving as our Custodial Technician for the Public Works Department. This position is responsible for providing housekeeping and custodial services for all assigned areas in order to provide a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing experience for the general public and employees. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
In this position you will: Keep restrooms clean and sanitized and stocked with supplies; clean kitchen areas and eating areas including appliances; sweep, mop and buff floors in offices, hallways, sidewalks, entrances, porches and other facilities. Perform scheduled floor maintenance including scrubbing, buffing, stripping and refinishing, wash windows, screens, walls and light fixtures and glass. Respond and clean spills, broken items, etc.; inspect grounds surrounding building and pick up trash. Participate in the setup for events, meetings, and office relocations. Ensure all work is done according to standard practices, design specifications, and Town and local building codes; ensure proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment.
