The Town of Pulaski is seeking applicants for an Engineering Project Manager. This is a full-time position with benefits including paid employee health insurance, life insurance, Virginia Retirement, vacation, and sick leave.
The successful applicant will:
Provide professional work, leading and participating in the planning, design and construction of a variety of capital projects and system maintenance projects;
Collaborate and negotiate with consulting engineers, sub consultants, prime contractors, and subcontractors in the design and construction of capital projects; Analyze and compile construction cost estimates, proposals, quotations and bids for capital projects;
Review and make recommendations on the designs prepared by consultants to ensure compliance with project specifications, available finances, design intent, environmental permits and safety requirements;
Provide engineering technical support to the Department head and other Town Boards, committees and project consultants, as required, and other relevant work as assigned.
Applicants must possess a valid Virginia driver’s license, a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, along with relevant experience.
