Recreation Department Head

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, schedule, and coordinate recreation, sports, and cultural programs and activities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new programs, including preparing program goals, outlines, and budget requirements.
• Direct and review the work of part-time and support staff and volunteers.
• Provide technical assistance to staff and ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in recreation, leisure studies, or a closely related field.
• One year of recreation program planning and implementation experience (2-3 years preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
