What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Staff position at Town of Saltville VA?
The Town of Saltville, Virginia is accepting applications for full-time maintenance staff.
Applicants should have experience in building and grounds maintenance, cemetery maintenance, all types of mowing equipment and be proficient with hand tools. Experience with snow and ice removal is a plus. Applicants will work as part of a crew under the supervision of the Public Works Director. All personnel are expected to work in a safe and efficient manor with the majority of work being performed outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
Only applicants with a valid Virginia operator’s license will be considered and a CDL is preferred. Full time positions include health insurance, membership in Virginia Retirement System, and annual leave time. Applicants considered for the position will be subject to drug screening prior to offer of employment.
