The Town of St. Johnsbury is currently accepting applications for the full time position of Operator at the Wastewater Treatment Facility. This position is responsible for assisting in daily operators of the Wastewater Treatment Facility including control flow and processing of wastewater, sludge and effluent, monitoring gauges and meters, obtaining samples for testing and analysis and maintains required records. Applicants should have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, the ability to multi-task, attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as a team. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license. Commercial driving license preferred. Wastewater Operator license must be obtained within two years from date of hire.
