JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision, secure the Parks and Recreation department facilities and ensure all facilities are locked.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ensures that all building and park facilities are secured every night and clean restrooms as required.
- Reports any light bulb outages noted throughout the Town (ex. Park lights, tennis court lights, street and security lights).
- Turns off any lights necessary.
- Performs litter control around all Park facilities as required.
- Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Requires a high school diploma. Must possess valid South Carolina driver’s license.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to prepare accurate written reports on a daily basis ( legible writing skills a must ).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be physically able to operate a motor vehicle. Must be physically able to exert up to twenty-five pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to ten pounds of force frequently, and / or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Physical demands are in excess of sedentary work; work requires constant standing, walking, reaching, stooping, etc. Must be able to lift and / or carry weights of approximately sixty pounds.
