Skills / Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee affordable housing projects, including planning, entitlements, procurement, development, and construction management.
- Manage project budgets and departmental financials.
- Process housing and Employee Housing Unit (EHU) applications.
- Track and analyze data related to housing programs and initiatives.
- Develop reports and deliver presentations to the Town Council and planning commissions.
- Conduct public outreach and stakeholder engagement to shape housing policies.
- Maintain accurate records of deed-restricted properties and employee housing units.
- Identify funding opportunities, including grants and financing structures.
- Partner with public and private sector stakeholders to foster affordable housing initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Development, Public Administration, Finance, Real Estate, Planning, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in housing development, real estate, property management, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of planning, entitlement processes, construction administration, and affordable housing finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel and reporting skills.
- Experience in policy development and municipal housing programs preferred.
- Excellent research, data analysis, and presentation skills.
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- AICP certification preferred.
