Reporting directly to the Housing Director, you will spearhead efforts to expand and enhance affordable housing opportunities. This position offers a dynamic mix of project planning, policy development, and housing program coordination, requiring close collaboration with Town leadership, community stakeholders, and regional partners.

In This Role, You Will

✔️ Lead affordable housing initiatives from concept to completion, ensuring they align with the Town’s long-term vision.

✔️ Analyze and implement housing policies to support sustainable development and accessibility.

✔️ Oversee construction administration and project management for new and existing housing developments.

✔️ Identify and secure grant funding and financing solutions to expand deed-restricted housing options.

✔️ Engage with local agencies and developers to drive forward-thinking housing solutions.

Skills / Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee affordable housing projects, including planning, entitlements, procurement, development, and construction management.
• Manage project budgets and departmental financials.
• Process housing and Employee Housing Unit (EHU) applications.
• Track and analyze data related to housing programs and initiatives.
• Develop reports and deliver presentations to the Town Council and planning commissions.
• Conduct public outreach and stakeholder engagement to shape housing policies.
• Maintain accurate records of deed-restricted properties and employee housing units.
• Identify funding opportunities, including grants and financing structures.
• Partner with public and private sector stakeholders to foster affordable housing initiatives.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Development, Public Administration, Finance, Real Estate, Planning, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in housing development, real estate, property management, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of planning, entitlement processes, construction administration, and affordable housing finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel and reporting skills.
• Experience in policy development and municipal housing programs preferred.
• Excellent research, data analysis, and presentation skills.
• Valid Colorado Driver’s License (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• AICP certification preferred.
