Maintenance Worker II – Join the Heart of Vail's Public Works Team! Starting at $23.00 The Town of Vail is looking for a proactive and dedicated Maintenance Worker II to join our Public Works team. In this essential role, you’ll help maintain the beauty, safety, and cleanliness of Vail’s public spaces, ensuring a welcoming experience for residents and visitors alike. If you take pride in your work, enjoy hands-on tasks across all seasons, and want to make a visible impact on the community, this role is for you! What You’ll Do: Seasonal Maintenance: Winter snow removal, park upkeep, and facility care to keep Vail safe, accessible, and enjoyable all year.Guest Service Focus: Provide friendly, helpful service across town, making Vail a great place for everyone.Comprehensive Site Care: Clean, repair, and maintain streets, bridges, walkways, parking areas, and more to uphold Vail’s exceptional standards.Your Day-to-Day Includes: Village & Path Maintenance: Regularly clear snow and ice from pedestrian areas, stairs, walkways, and bus stops for a safe, accessible environment.Trash & Litter Control: Daily hand sweeping, trash collection, and clean-up around the villages, frontage roads, and interstate areas.Facility Upkeep: Maintain culverts, catch basins, ditches, and recreational paths to preserve Vail's natural beauty.Be part of a team that works year-round to make Vail a top destination.
