Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks. Duties: - Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting equipment, checking fluid levels, and lubricating machinery - Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, including diagnosing problems, replacing parts, and conducting tests - Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity - Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency - Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) - Assist with general facility upkeep, including cleaning and organizing work areas Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in maintenance or a related field preferred - Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude - Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams - Basic computer skills, including experience with CMMS software - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written - Leadership skills to effectively coordinate with other team members Note: Welding or fabricating skills, as well as knowledge of electrical systems, are highly desirable but not required.
