POOL SUPERVISORS - PART TIME
Westwood Recreation Department
The Westwood Recreation Department has several part-time openings for Pool Supervisors. We're looking for dependable and responsible aquatics leaders to oversee the safety and well-being of pool participants, as well as supervise part-time staff. Westwood's Pool Supervisors have a shared goal to provide a high-quality experience for patrons and uphold the Westwood Recreation Department's core values of safety, fun, responsibility and respect.
Shifts Needed :
- Monday through Friday 5 : 30 AM - 9 : 00 AM and 7 : 00 PM - 10 PM
- Saturday and Sunday 12 : 00 PM - 6 PM.
We will work with you to find shifts convenient for you!
Responsibilities and duties include the following :
Qualifications and experience : High School graduate; 21 years of age preferred. Prior aquatics experience required. Supervisory experience preferred. Effective interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to react quickly and calmly in various situations, and the exercise of good judgment are essential. Ability to work with individuals of various ages and backgrounds. A focus on customer service is important and a positive attitude is a plus!
Special Requirements / Certifications Needed : Current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification to include CPR / AED for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid certification.
Salary : This is a part-time, non-benefit position with a starting rate of $19.50 per hour.
