Hiring Range: The base/starting wage for this position is $18.02 per hour, which increases based on years of service/experience.Work Schedule: Various hours throughout the week including evenings and weekends.NATURE OF WORKAs a member of the Aquatics Division, this position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at Windsor Lake and the Eastman Riverwalk Experience.This position requires work throughout the week as well as evenings and weekends. This temporary employment may be scheduled through the year on a full-time basis depending on the needs of the town, but will not exceed six months in length (or 1,040 hours, whichever comes first). Please note that town employees (including seasonal employees) may only be employed in one classification at any one given time.Individuals in the position are required to perform work in a manner consistent with and exemplary of the town’s PRIDE philosophy and the town’s Equal Employment Opportunity policy.SUPERVISION RECEIVEDThe Lake and Eastman Riverwalk Manager works under the direct supervision/leadership of the Recreation Coordinator - Aquatics to carry out assigned duties, functions, roles, and projects in both routine and complex circumstances. SUPERVISION/LEADERSHIP EXERCISEDThe Lake and Eastman Riverwalk Experience Manager exercises general leadership by overseeing the Lake Support, Boat Patrol, Boat Rental, and Concession Cashier staff while ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSThe Lake and Eastman Riverwalk Manager is assigned specific assignments, job duties, scope, authority, responsibility, roles, and requirements as determined by the town, department, division, and pursuant to laws, regulations, and practices. This individual must be able to successfully perform, be responsible for, and/or assist in the fulfillment of many job functions and duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.The following duties and responsibilities are illustrative of the primary functions of this position and are not intended to be all-inclusive: Responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at Windsor Lake and Eastman Riverwalk Experience.Responsible for direct supervision of Lake and Eastman Riverwalk Experience staff.Point of contact for any customer service/emergency incidents at Windsor Lake and Eastman Riverwalk Experience and filling out appropriate reports in a timely manner. Ensure that all staff and patrons are following all safety protocols at all times. Ensure proper and preventative maintenance is done on the town’s motorized boat and all rental assets. Maintain all signage to ensure clear communication with all guests.Ensure all participants are following all safety protocols while utilizing Town of Windsor floating assets. Ensures safety regulations and procedures are adhered to and enforces rules of the lake and the river experience.Maintain good public relations at all times by being helpful and pleasant.Oversees sales of rental tokens, boating permits, and concessions. Assist with cash handling procedures and/or opening/closing cash handling procedures.Works with supervisor to ensure water quality tests are collected and submitted.Utilize designated scheduling application for accessing schedules and time-off requests. Works with supervisor to track inventory and place orders for products as needed.Reports any issues and concerns to supervisor.Identifies and reports any hazards in a timely manner.Performs related work as required and assigned.
