$18.05 - $20.77/hr - Starting salary depends on prior experience
Lifeguards are required to maintain a vigilant watch over pool patrons, who are comprised of older adults (age 55 ) and youth (during youth swim lessons.) Additional duties required may be attending to persons in distress, rendering first aid as needed and maintenance of pool, deck and/or locker room. Current certifications in Standard First Aid, CPR Professional Rescuer and Lifeguard Training are required. Approximate total hours per week are 15-20, shifts vary.
A current certification in Standard First Aid, CPR Professional Rescuer and Lifeguard Training are required OR the ability to attend and pass the Lifeguard Training held by the Town of Windsor.

Applications for both Lifeguard and Swim Instructor will be screened and those considered best qualified will be invited to participate in an interview. Applicants can apply while obtaining certification but successful course completion is necessary before employment. A background and fingerprint check will be completed before date of hire. Positions are open until filled.
