Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting members to and from our center. We are seeking one part-time driver for the afternoon route. This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to operate different types of vehicles. Experience with seniors, dementia, ALZ, Parkinson's, and MS is a bonus.
Duties:
- Load and unload members safely
- Safely transport members to designated locations
- Follow schedules and routes
- Ensure all routes are completed on time
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate records on vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
All approved drivers will receive training to work with seniors living with dementia, ALZ, Parkinson's, and MS.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating commercial vehicles
- Ability to lift and perform physical tasks as required (helping members on and off of the bus).
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Ability to schedule routes and provide customer communication
