Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to passengers while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. As a Taxi Driver, you will navigate city streets, maintain your vehicle, and adhere to all traffico regulations. This role is perfect for individuals with experience in various driving capacities, including paratransit, limousine, bus driving, or commercial driving. You will be transporting students as well as Rct clients privacy is expected also no drug use clean driving license and back check we do random drug testing must be 25 or older. Handling money on a daily basis so must keep track of money honesty is the best policy

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers to their desired destinations in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle by performing regular inspections and basic maintenance.
• Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or personal items as needed.
• Follow designated routes while also being flexible to accommodate passenger requests.
• Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and professional at all times.
• Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and passenger counts.
• Comply with all local traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and other road users.
• Handle cash and electronic payments securely while providing receipts to passengers.

Skills

• Proven experience in driving roles such as paratransit, limousine, bus driving, van driver, or delivery driver is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local streets, traffic patterns, and navigation systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse passengers.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively.
• Strong time management skills to ensure punctuality for pickups and drop-offs.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus.
• A love for children is a must

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
