What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician position at Towncrest Pharmacy?
Towncrest Pharmacy is a progressive independent community pharmacy with locations in Iowa City, Solon, New Hampton, Marengo, Van Horne, and Belle Plaine. We are currently looking for 1 full-time pharmacy technician (40 hours/week) to work at our Bennett Pharmacy location in New Hampton. Bennett Pharmacy/Towncrest Pharmacy has been recognized regionally and nationally as a community pharmacy leader for providing advanced patient care services to patients of all ages. On the job training is offered, no prior experience or certification is necessary. Salary is commensurate with experience and Bennett Pharmacy/Towncrest Pharmacy offers a competitive profit sharing and benefits package, including medical and dental benefits.
We offer a one-time signing bonus will be offered to new employees during the first year, paid after specified months of employment with Bennett Pharmacy/Towncrest Pharmacy.

Schedule:
- Up to an 8-hour shift
- Monday through Friday. Saturday rotation possible 9-noon as needed.
Education:
- High school or equivalent is required.
License/Certification:
- Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred but not required.
