Job Overview:
We are looking for a passionate Salon Supervisor to oversee and manage our in-house salon. This role ensures exceptional service quality, maintains a positive and welcoming environment, and supervises salon operations while supporting the residents' beauty and wellness needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily salon operations, including scheduling and coordinating services.
- Provide hairstyling, barbering, and/or nail care services (if licensed).
- Supervise salon staff and ensure adherence to community policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting salon environment.
- Build relationships with residents, ensuring a personalized and enjoyable experience.
- Order and manage salon supplies
- Ensure compliance with state cosmetology regulations and health standards.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Cosmetologist or Barber in the state of Indiana
- Previous experience in a salon or spa setting, preferably in a senior living or healthcare environment.
- Strong leadership and customer service skills.
- Ability to work compassionately with seniors and adapt to their needs.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
