Bench Jeweler

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented bench Jeweler to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing and design/retail studio/store. As a bench Jeweler, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and fabrication of high-quality jewelry pieces, repairs, knowledge of laser welding and various other machines ensuring that each item meets our rigorous standards of excellence.

Duties

*Experience in stone setting (all types), ring/bracelet sizing, soldering, assembly, and polishing

*Chain and clasp repair

*Laser welding

*Re-tipping prongs

*Ability to work on gold, silver and platinum

*Trustworthy

*Excellent organizational skills

*Customer service minded individual with a high standard for quality work product

*Maintain bench and keep tools in working order

*Open to feedback and willing to make changes in craft to produce products that meet the Towne Jewelers standards.

Experience

• Previous experience in a jewelry manufacturing or factory setting is required.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to jewelry making.
• Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment and machinery. Must be skilled at laser welding and soldering
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual productivity.
• Front of store experience and taking in order repairs is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
