What are the responsibilities and job description for the ACCOUNT RESOLUTION SPECIALIST - Remote position at TOWNE MORTGAGE COMPANY?
We are looking for an Account Resolution Specialist to join our team! This role requires someone with a positive attitude, integrity, and a strong work ethic. Key responsibilities include contacting clients regarding delinquent mortgage accounts, assessing financial situations, recommending solutions, and ensuring adherence to legal and investor guidelines.
In this role, you will work with our clients to assess their financial situations and recommend solutions to resolve delinquent accounts. This position can be remote, on-site, or hybrid. Schedule: The schedule for this position is 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. EST.
Essential Functions:
- Collect payments on past due mortgage accounts by making outbound calls and taking inbound calls.
- Locate clients using credit bureau information, background checks, loan documents, and other supporting paperwork or databases.
- Follow all investor guidelines and state laws dealing with debt collection.
- Utilize computer systems to handle skip tracing.
- Inform clients of overdue accounts and amounts owed.
- Accurately track and document all communications with clients/customers to provide a detailed history of contact.
- Support the default team as necessary with loss mitigation tasks and calls
- Supporting day-to-day tasks and other functions as assigned.
- Ability to meet regular and reliable attendance.

Qualifications:
- At least 1-2 -years of related experience is required.
- Understanding of mortgage servicing, specifically default (collections and loss mitigation)
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and multi-task.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
