Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Dayton Association District - Centerville, OH
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with an on-call rotation.
Competitive pay: $23-$25 hourly (based on experience and qualifications), plus potential yearly bonus.
Community: Multiple condominium buildings throughout Dayton.
Who you are:
- 2 years of direct experience in general maintenance.
- Experience in carpentry, painting, drywall repair, minor construction work, minor plumbing and electrical work, gutter and downspout repair, as well as expertise in door and gate hardware repairs and wood trim replacement.
- Effective communication skills and proficiency in basic computer or smartphone use.
- Comfortable working on ladders to perform roof and siding repairs and gutter cleaning.
- Own basic hand tools.
- Valid driver’s license with a reliable truck or van and auto-insurance.
- Willing to submit to a drug and background check if offered this position.
What you will do as a Maintenance Technician:
- Perform various maintenance tasks from service requests.
- Keep grounds and landscape in tip-top shape.
- Work on ladders, roofs, gutters/downspouts, carpentry, wood trim replacement, club house maintenance, painting, etc.
- Provide customer service to homeowners and Board of Directors.
- Manage priorities and competing demands in a busy environment.
