**Job Summary:**
We are a growing small business looking for a part-time Human Resource Generalist to join our team. You will play a vital role in supporting our most valuable assets – our employees!
**Responsibilities:**
- Implement strategic planning initiatives to enhance HR processes
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently twice a month.
- Accurately process and track all garnishments.
- Manage the employee onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a smooth transition.
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws.
- Provide ongoing HR support to employees, answering questions and resolving any concerns.
- Develop and maintain positive employee relations through effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Assist management develop and administrate employee improvement plans.
- Stay current on HR trends and best practices.
- Assist with benefits administration, including open enrollment, audits, and ongoing support.
- Oversee talent management activities including recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies
- Conduct performance management tasks and employee evaluations
- Collaborate with teams to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
**Experience:**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field recommended
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, laws, and regulations
- Proficiency in utilizing HR software systems such as Salesforce, Kronos, Workday, Paychex, Ceridian, and Lever
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
