Construction Loan Assistant

As a Construction Loan Assistant, you may look forward to:

• Requesting documentation from Loan Officers such as construction contracts, plans and specs
• Communication with Loan Officers and their staff regarding items needed for settlement
• Reviewing the Construction closing documents to be sure they meet bank requirements
• Providing support to Processors throughout the loan processing and construction processes
• Maintaining Excel spreadsheets and reports
• Obeys all applicable Federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
  
  

You are a person that (required skills):

• Has demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Is able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Has strong organizational skills
• Is detail oriented
• Is able to develop positive working relationships with individuals of all levels within the organization
• Is able to communicate in a positive and professional manner with internal and external customers and service providers
• Must have knowledge and use of the Bank’s core system “Insight”
  
  

You’ll be better prepared if you have (desired skills):

• Prior construction lending experience
• Prior mortgage experience

Physically you can anticipate to:

• Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally.
• Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time.
• Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation.
• Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
