TownePlace Suites by Marriott is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to join the housekeeping team! As an Inspector / Supervisor you will have the opportunity to lead one of the most important Teams within a Hotel.
POSITION PURPOSE:
To Inspect all guest rooms cleaned by the Housekeeping Team & to ensure rooms are within TownePlace Suites by Marriott Brand compliance for cleanliness standards. This is a leadership position that requires someone preferably with a background in managing / supervising small teams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Clean and reset guest bedroom and bathroom areas according to established standards.
- Organize and stock cleaning cart and organize linen closets on floors assigned.
- Complete accurately, and in a timely manner, any assigned paperwork.
- Report any items missing from rooms and suites.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous Housekeeping Supervisory Experience is a plus, but open to a quality candidate that is at the point to grow.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team & communicate daily with Management on site.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Background in Coaching & Counseling of associates / subordinates
- Background in Training new associates
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, stoop, etc during shifts
- Weekends are required. Holidays are required.'
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $19.50 per hour
