The Position : We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician to perform general repairs in and around the hotel as needed to ensure our hotel stays in top physical condition for our guests. This is done through a preventive maintenance program, responding quickly to requests from our guests and other team members, and having an eye for detail.
Additionally, Maintenance Technicians contribute to the overall safety and security of the hotel by reporting damage, following safety rules, and assisting in emergency situations.

The Responsibilities :
Completes assigned work orders in the required time frame
Assists and responds to guest requests
Secure and maintain tools, work spaces and equipment
Adjust and / or repair mechanical, guest room, and hotel equipment as needed
Manage building controls and shutoffs in the event of an emergency
Notify manager of needed supplies and equipment
Track and update log sheets and work assignment records
Preventative maintenance of guest room and public spaces as assigned
The Requirements :
Demonstrated initiative in completing tasks accurately and on time
Ability to troubleshoot complex systems or problems effectively and efficiently
Effectively communicate with our guests, vendors, and team members
Ability to manage and prioritize assigned tasks
Ability to work alone and make accurate independent decisions as needed
A minimum of 6 months previous experience in an equal or similar position is required.
