We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing a variety of maintenance tasks. Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
- Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate repair schedules to minimize downtime.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management.
- Fabricate and weld components as needed to ensure equipment functionality.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Use tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Proficiency in working with logic controllers and understanding their operation within systems.
- Ability to fabricate parts and perform welding tasks as required.
- Familiarity with reading schematics for various mechanical systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience using CMMS software for maintenance tracking is preferred.
