Maintenance Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize logic controllers and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking maintenance activities.
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs, utilizing tools such as an ohmmeter.
• Fabricate components as needed to support maintenance operations.
• Weld various materials to repair or create necessary parts for equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed, including parts used and time spent on tasks.
• Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for improvement in facility operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication within the team.
• Experience with logic controllers and CMMS is highly desirable.
• Ability to use an ohmmeter and other electrical testing tools effectively.
• Welding skills are a plus, with the ability to fabricate parts as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
