Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the daily operations of your nursing unit, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Supervise and support CNAs, LPNs, and RNs, including conducting evaluations and competency assessments.
- Address and resolve clinical and administrative challenges, maintaining smooth operation of care delivery.
- Provide expert clinical guidance in medical, behavioral, and crisis management situations.
- Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to set and achieve resident care goals.
- Coordinate with the Director of Nursing to align unit operations with facility-wide objectives.
- Keep families and physicians informed with regular resident status updates.
- Conduct thorough assessments of each resident’s medical status and contribute to personalized treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, fostering strong relationships with residents and their families.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (preferred).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
